Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Set it aside for now.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this dry mixture aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next one.
Add the mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix until well combined.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring just until the ingredients are fully combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a dense loaf.
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for approximately 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
